If the login information of ID and password is incorrect, it may be displayed as “Invalid account”. Regarding mistakes in entering your MT4/MT5 ID, the ID is included in the email you received when you opened your XM account, so if you copy and paste it, you can be sure to enter it correctly.
Incorrect server information
Server information is included in the email sent from XM when you open an account. After checking, please select the server you want to use on MT4/MT5 again. This also applies to demo accounts, etc., so first check your email by accessing it on your smartphone. If it has not been left unattended for more than 90 days, it should not be a dormant account.
If you open an account with MT4, you can only log in to MT4, and if you open an account with MT5, you can only log in to MT5. Please note that you cannot log in to different versions of MetaTrader.
